Our American Precision Die Casting Team
At American Precision Die Casting, we know our team is second to none. Our people epitomize the APDC values of always doing what’s right, respecting others, and performing with excellence. Whether it’s providing top-notch customer service in one of our strategic business units or our highly qualified team members who manage our robotic-automated cells, we celebrate our people.
Stand-out Customer Service
To enhance our organizational capabilities and provide better support for our customer’s unique missions and requirements, APDC established SBUs. Our responsive, focused SBUs solve complex challenges while delivering innovative, timely solutions for customers. The very nature of our SBU’s unites us to build synergies and close customer relationships.
Meet APDC Team Member Dawn Rena Ware
Dawn is APDC’s Lead SBU Valued Services Technician. By coordinating closely and directly with one of our premier partners, Dawn better understands and anticipates our customer’s aluminum die casting production needs. This environment of mutual trust and insight allows her to quickly develop the best strategy to fulfill those demands, allowing our customer to maintain a competitive edge.
Dawn has been on the APDC team since 2016. We appreciate the value and expertise she brings to the strategic business unit. Here’s a little more about her:
Hometown: Steelville, Missouri
Favorite aspect of her job: Everything. Working with new employees, making the best parts we can make, and being able to see it all happen.
What Dawn has gained from working at APDC: A career, friends, being able to make a life that is better for me and my kids. I’ve gained a family in APDC. I’ve gained more confidence in myself and become a stronger person. And I’ve learned a lot about machines, how to work on them, and how to test parts.
Her proudest moment at APDC: When I was asked to take over the vibratory deburring cell. Also traveling to Texas with amazing people to visit one of our customer’s headquarters, and hearing firsthand that they are so happy about our aluminum die cast parts.
She was drawn to APDC by: I was working at a dead-end job for seven years not making it on my own. Then my brother went to work for APDC and was making more than I was. Once I discovered one of my former supervisors, Bob Stolte, worked at APDC, I quickly left my old job to join the APDC team.
Five words to describe APDC: Family, strong, growing, driven, giving.
She’s proudest of: Myself and my kids for being so strong.
The best gifts she has ever received: My kids.
If she had one superpower: To predict the future.
Dawn’s happiest when: My kids and I are all together, laughing over anything. Or looking in my kid’s rooms at night while they are sleeping, knowing how lucky I am. And realizing my life is this way because my company, APDC, is taking care of us.
Her go-to karaoke songs: “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison or “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton.
Her favorite family tradition: Every holiday my whole family comes over, we make food together, and after dinner, we pile up in the TV room, and watch scary movies.
Top three things on her bucket list: Remodel my house from top to bottom, skydive with my kids, travel the world.
Her hobbies outside of APDC: I coach soccer and baseball (going on eight years). I’ve played the drums since sixth grade. I also drive my kids to all their sports.
Her dream vacation would be to: Hawaii
Dawn Rena Ware’s personal motto are words we should all hear: “You need to either accept the way things are in your life or accept the responsibility to change them.”
Want to work with the best? APDC is always looking to hire five-star members who’ve got the drive, skills, positive energy, great mind, and are eager to contribute to your own success.
